Reinforced PA6 utilizes carbon fiber or aramid blends to boost flexural modulus (7.5 GPa) and creep resistance. A cost-effective alternative to PPA, it dominates in automotive throttle bodies and drone frames needing heat deflection >200°C.
Retains PA6’s inherent benefits (high strength, abrasion resistance) while addressing weaknesses like moisture sensitivity or brittleness.
Competes with metals and more expensive polymers (e.g., PEEK) in high-stress applications.
Cost-effective for mass production due to improved processing and performance.
